The method
How a low-moisture clean gets the dirt out
The dullness in a carpet rarely sits on top. Fine soil and grit work their way down the pile and cling to the fiber, which is why a vacuum never brings a gray hallway back. The clean has to happen down there.
Your technician applies a measured amount of cleaning solution, enough to break the soil's grip and no more. Then absorbent cleaning pads go to work across the floor on the machine, drinking up the loosened dirt and carrying it out of the fiber. The technician swaps in a fresh pad as often as the room calls for it, and every used pad comes up dark with what had been in your carpet, so you can watch the progress for yourself.
Because only a little moisture goes in, there is no soaked backing to dry out and no soapy film left to grab the next round of dirt. Figure on the clean lasting roughly three times longer than a soapy wet clean would. The solutions themselves are eco-friendly, non-toxic, and safe to have around kids and pets.

A traditional steam cleaning can leave the carpet damp into the next morning, with fans running and rooms roped off. Our low-moisture process puts in a fraction of that water, so the carpet is dry in about an hour. Furniture goes back in place and the kids can play on the floor again the same afternoon.
That matters most in the rooms you cannot do without: a nursery, the hallway everyone uses, the stairs. It also matters for the carpet itself. A pile that never gets soaked keeps its shape, and the backing never sits wet long enough to pick up a musty smell.

The walk-through
Your technician walks the rooms with you before anything else: the traffic lanes, the spots that bother you, anything delicate. You get a written price before any equipment comes in, and that same figure appears on the invoice when we finish.
Pre-treatment where it is needed
Heavy lanes and spots get a head start. Coffee, tracked-in mud and a pet accident are different problems, and each gets treated for what it is.
The clean itself
Measured solution, absorbent pads, fresh pads as often as the floor asks for them. Edges and corners get the same attention as the middle of the room.
The second walk-through
When the last room is done you look at the work together. Point at a spot and it gets a second pass before the van pulls away.
Furniture
We move the small things and clean under them
Chairs, ottomans, end tables and the like get picked up, the carpet under them cleaned, and the pieces set back where they were. The heavy pieces stay put, beds and dressers and entertainment centers among them, and we clean right up to their edges. Nobody expects you to empty a bedroom for us.
A little prep goes a long way: get the toys, shoes, cords and anything fragile up off the floor, and settle pets in a room we are not cleaning. The rest is ours.

Three rooms start at $109 (up to 450 square feet); a room counts as standard up to 150 square feet. Larger rooms, hallways, stairs and heavy soil get their own line on the written price, settled during the walk-through. You approve a figure, and that figure is what you pay. Questions about carpet cleaning
Good to know first
Is a low-moisture clean as deep as a wet one?
Yes, and usually deeper where it counts. Depth comes from the pre-treatment, the time the solution gets to work and the agitation of the pads, not from the volume of water. Soaking a carpet mostly adds drying time and leaves detergent behind. Our solution breaks the soil loose down in the pile, the absorbent pads carry it out, and the used pads show you, in plain dirt, how much came out.
How long does a typical carpet visit take?
Most homes take a couple of hours from the first walk-through to the final check, and smaller jobs go faster. The technician gives you a closer estimate once they have seen the rooms and know how much pre-treatment the lanes and spots need. Drying starts as each room is finished, so the first rooms are often dry before the last one is done.
Do I have to move the furniture first?
No. Your technician moves the lighter pieces, cleans the carpet under them and puts them back. Beds, dressers, entertainment centers and other heavy items stay in place and get cleaned around. What helps most is clearing the floor of small things, like toys, shoes, cords and anything that could break, before we arrive.
What is left in the carpet when you are done?
Clean fiber and nothing else. Because the solution goes in measured and comes back out on the pads along with the soil, there is no soapy film to dry into the carpet. That film is what makes a freshly cleaned room feel tacky and go gray again within weeks. Without it, the carpet stays clean about three times longer, and spots are far less likely to wick back up.
Can I walk on the carpet as soon as you finish?
You can cross it in socks right away if you need to. For a fully dry floor, give it about an hour, then put the furniture back, let the pets in and carry on with your day. Hold off a little longer before sliding anything heavy across it, and keep muddy shoes off until it is completely dry.
