Area rugs
Priced by the square foot, by fiber.
Rugs are measured in your home and priced by the square foot. The rate depends on the fiber, because wool, cotton and synthetics each clean differently, and the estimator above shows the per-foot figure and what a typical 5 by 8 comes to.
Every rug is cleaned on your own floor during the carpet visit, in every market, so the rug goes on the same written quote as the rooms and never leaves the house.
Pet treatment and add-ons
Priced per room, on site.
Pet stain and odor treatment and the allergy relief treatment are priced per room once the technician has seen the rooms, because the right treatment depends on what is in the carpet. Both are added to the written quote up front, and pet treatment carries our 100% pet odor removal guarantee.
What moves the number
Why your price is written at the door.
Room size
Up to 150 square feet makes one room. A great room or an open plan counts as more than one.
Soil and traffic
A lightly used guest room and a hallway everyone walks through are not the same job, and the price reflects it.
Stairs and halls
Counted by the flight and the hall, so a split-level home prices differently from a ranch.
Fiber
Wool rugs, delicate upholstery and dry-clean-only fabrics take more care and more time.
Pets
Rooms needing the enzyme treatment are priced per room, once the technician has seen them.
What you add on the day
Add the stairs or the loveseat while the technician is there and the addition is priced and approved before it is touched.
How the price gets set
Five steps, the same in every market.
Ballpark
The estimator above, or the office by phone, gives you a starting figure from your room count.
Walk-through
Your technician goes through each room with you, measures, and points out which marks will go and which will only fade.
Written total
The price goes on paper before any equipment comes inside. The quote is the invoice.
Your yes
Nothing starts until you approve the number, and nothing is added without the same yes.
Pay when it is done
You walk the rooms again at the end, pay the total you approved, and the carpet is dry about an hour later.
Pricing questions
The questions customers ask most before they book, answered the way the office would answer them.
Are LocalPro prices the same in every market?
Yes. The sheet on this page is the one every market works from, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Atlanta and Charlotte alike. What differs from house to house is the house: room sizes, flights of stairs, rugs, furniture and the amount of soil, which is why the exact figure is written at your door.
Why are some prices shown as a range?
Because rooms differ. We count a room as up to 150 square feet, so a bigger one, a hallway that turns a corner or a heavily soiled room lands higher in the range. The technician measures and writes the number before starting; the range here is for planning, and the number on your invoice is exact.
Can LocalPro give me a price over the phone?
The office gives you a close starting figure from your room count, stairs, rugs and furniture, and the estimator on this page does the same in seconds. The exact price comes from the technician after walking the rooms with you, in writing, before any equipment comes in.
How are area rugs priced?
By the square foot. The fiber sets the rate, since a synthetic rug and a wool rug clean differently. The technician measures the rug in your home and cleans it there, on your own floor, during the carpet visit, so the rug goes on the same written quote as the rooms.
Does the price change once the work starts?
No. The total you approve at the door is the total on the invoice. Ask for the stairs or a loveseat on the day and the technician prices the extra piece, then waits for your yes before touching it. Nothing is added quietly.
When do I pay, and is anything charged when I book?
Nothing is charged when you book, online or by phone. Payment comes after the work, once the two of you have looked over every room, and the amount is the written total you approved at the start.
Satisfaction guaranteed on every visit.
