More about commercial carpet cleaning

Why the method matters more at work

Nobody has to work around a wet floor

Commercial carpet is built to take punishment and hide it. Low, dense pile, dark flecked colors, glued straight to the floor. It holds an enormous amount of grit before it looks dirty, and by the time the lanes go gray the fiber is being sanded down with every footstep. Cleaning it properly means pulling that grit up from the bottom of the pile, where a surface shampoo never reaches.

Our low-moisture process does that without soaking anything. The solution goes on in a measured dose and loosens the soil, absorbent pads carry it out, and the pads get changed until they come up clean. The carpet is dry in about an hour. No closed Monday, no fans humming through a waiting room, and no soapy film left behind to pull the lanes back to gray within weeks.

Spaces we clean

From the lobby to the nursery wing

An office with carpeted floors

Offices and suites

Open floors, private offices, conference rooms and the entry lane everyone uses. Office chairs and waiting-room seating can be cleaned on the same evening as the carpet.

A daycare classroom with carpeted floor

Churches and daycares

Sanctuaries, fellowship halls, classrooms and the floors toddlers spend the day on. Non-toxic products and a dry floor in about an hour are the whole point here.

A meeting space with patterned carpet

Medical, dental and retail

Reception areas, exam-room corridors, sales floors and fitting rooms, cleaned after the last appointment or the last customer so the space is ready at opening.

Apartment turns, leasing offices and common-area hallways are a regular part of the week too; see below.

After hours

We work when the building is empty

Most commercial cleaning happens in the evening or early morning, and weekends when that suits the business better. The crew lets itself in the way you arrange, works the space from the back to the front door, and locks up. By the time the first employee arrives, the carpet has been dry for hours.

For a church that is for weekday evenings, so the carpet is ready for the weekend. For a daycare it is after pickup. For a clinic it is after the last patient. The schedule follows your calendar, and the same crew comes back each time so they know the building.

How a commercial account starts

A walk-through, a written price, a schedule

The walk-through

A technician measures the space, looks at the lanes, the spots and the fiber, and asks about your hours, access and how often you want the carpet done.

The written price

You get the figure in writing before anything is scheduled. That is the number on the invoice, for the first visit and for every visit on a standing schedule.

The first clean

After hours, with the crew that will keep coming back. You walk in the next morning to dry, clean carpet and a note of anything the technician noticed.

The schedule

Monthly for a busy lobby or daycare, quarterly or twice a year for a quieter office. The interval follows the traffic, and it can change when the traffic does.

Property managers

Apartment turns that do not hold up the unit

An empty apartment is losing money every day it sits. We clean the carpet wall to wall once the unit is cleared, treat any pet accidents with the protein and enzyme treatment, and leave the floor dry in about an hour, so paint, repairs or the new tenant can follow that same afternoon. Each unit gets its own dated receipt.

Managers with several buildings keep one arrangement for all of them: the same written pricing, the same crew in each market, and a phone number that gets answered. Leasing offices, clubhouses and common hallways go on the same schedule.

A pristine, empty carpeted commercial room

Who shows up, and what we promise

Our own employees, our own guarantee

The people cleaning your building are LocalPro employees, trained and insured by us, never a crew subcontracted for the night. They live in the market they work in, so the same faces come back visit after visit. We have been family-owned since 2014 and run our own crews in metro Atlanta, Chattanooga, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

Every commercial visit carries the same guarantee as a home: love the clean or it's free. Point out a lane or a spot that should be done again and the crew returns and redoes it at no charge, and if a lane still is not right after the second pass, that work costs you nothing.

Commercial questions

What facility managers ask

Can you clean our office after we close for the day?

Yes, and most commercial work is scheduled that way. The crew arrives after your last person leaves, or early before the first one arrives, and works through the space while it is empty. Because the carpet is dry in about an hour, there is nothing damp to step around when the doors open. Tell us your hours and the access arrangements, and the office builds the schedule around them.

How soon can staff walk on the carpet after a commercial cleaning?

In about an hour the carpet is dry and the space is back in use. The low-moisture process puts in a small, measured amount of solution and lifts the soil out on absorbent pads, so the carpet is never saturated. Compare that with a traditional steam cleaning, which can leave commercial carpet wet until the following morning and the business shut with it.

How do you price a commercial carpet cleaning?

By walking the space. A technician comes out, measures, checks the lanes and the spots, asks about hours and how often you want the carpet done, and puts a price in writing. That written figure is what you are invoiced, and nothing is added once the work is under way. Phone guesses do not work for commercial carpet because two offices of the same size can need very different amounts of work.

Do you set up a recurring cleaning schedule for businesses?

Yes. Many commercial customers put the carpet on a standing schedule, monthly in a busy lobby or daycare, quarterly or twice a year in a quieter office. The interval follows the traffic, not the calendar, and the written price covers each visit so the budget is known in advance. A standing schedule keeps the lanes from ever getting bad enough to need a rescue clean.

Is the cleaning safe for a daycare or a medical office?

Yes. The products are non-toxic and eco-friendly, there is no heavy fragrance left in the air, and nothing sticky stays in the carpet for small hands or patients' feet to pick up. The carpet is dry in about an hour, so an evening clean is finished and forgotten before the first child or patient comes through the door the next morning.

Do you clean apartment turnovers and move-outs for property managers?

Yes, in every market. An empty unit is cleaned wall to wall, pet accidents get the protein and enzyme treatment with our 100% pet odor removal guarantee, and the carpet is dry in about an hour, so the painter or the new tenant can follow a couple of hours later. You get a dated receipt for each unit, and a manager with several properties can keep one standing arrangement for all of them.
